Whew, YG’s weekend started with a different kind of turn up when the cops turned up at his LA home at 4 am. According to TMZ, armed police showed up to YG’s home early Friday morning with a search warrant, and have now arrested him.

YG is currently in police custody and being transported to a jail to possibly be held for robbery.

It is unclear if this raid and arrest is in connection to a murder case YG’s Escalade was recently connected to. If you remember, YG’s SUV was involved in a high-speed chase in July 2019 which ended with someone inside the vehicle shooting and killing a 65-year-old man on a bicycle.

YG’s home was already raided in connection to that case however, and an associate of his was arrested with a weapons charge.

YG had this to say about that case, “I was nowhere near the scene of this incident and had been in a recording studio all day in Hollywood. I was there until after midnight on the Fourth of July and didn’t learn of these events until after they happened.”

Recently, YG reported that more than $400,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from his hotel room.
