“President Buhari ought to have travelled to Lagos for an on the spot assessment of the Lagos Building Collapse. As dictatorial as Putin is alleged to be, he flew to Russia’s Ural Mountains region in 2018 to participate in rescue efforts at a collapsed building in subzero weather,” Omokri tweeted.

However a statement from Femi Adesina, the president’s spokesman has it that President Muhammadu Buhari has charged Governor Akinwunmi Ambode to do all that is needful, so that such tragic developments do not recur in future.
