President Donald Trump promised a shutdown of the government over Border security.
President Trump who in a series of tweets in the early hours of Friday promised to shut down the government at Friday midnight if the Democrats refuse to vote for border security, he has accused the Democrats of not willing to vote for the Border Security and the Wall, which strongly their vote is needed, he tweeted,
“The Democrats, whose votes we need in the Senate, will probably vote against Border Security and the Wall even though they know it is DESPERATELY NEEDED. If the Dems vote no, there will be a shutdown that will last for a very long time. People don’t want Open Borders and Crime!”
“Shutdown today if Democrats do not vote for Border Security!” he tweeted.
If no deal is reached, parts of the US government will begin to close at midnight on Friday.
Meanwhile, the House had Thursday, approved a 4 billion US dollar out of the 5 billion US dollar which the president demanded, but the Senate is, however, to place a vote of confidence on midday, Friday. as reported, the shutdown would include the closure of the departments of Homeland Security, Agriculture, Transportation, Justice and more.
As reported by BBC, the partial Shutdown would be the third such closure of federal agencies in 2018. If it occurs, it may not be settled until after the New Year, when Democrats take control of the House of Representatives.
