Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has fully gotten the support of US President Donald Trump over Khashoggi’s Murder.
President Trump has emphasised his support for the crown prince over the killing of the Washington Columnist Journalist Jamal Khashoggi amid the fact that the crown prince has ordered the killing of Jamal Khashoggi.
The President declared that Saudi Arabia and the US have been great partners during an interview with Reuters News Agency, He also added while been asked if standing by the Kingdom meant supporting the crown prince Mohammed bin Salman, his response was that currently, at the circumstance, he certainly does support the crown prince.
Ever since the murder of Khashoggi which was linked to the crown prince, Trump had feared and hoped US senators would not break deals which he has fought strongly to keep. Meanwhile, the President has been criticised strongly ever since the US CIA Director briefed the Senate over the killing of Jamal Khashoggi, which Trump called “too premature”
This week, the US Senate will consider a joint resolution condemning the crown prince for the killing, something that the president would have to sign or veto if passed by Congress. Trump has said he would meet senators.
