After a long silence on discussing anything related to politics, on Sunday American Singer Taylor Swift took to her IG page and announced that she is voting for Tennesse’s Democratic candidate Phil Bredesen and Jim Cooper for House of Representatives.
“I’m writing this post about the upcoming midterm elections on November 6th, in which I’ll be voting in the state of Tennessee,” writes Swift. “In the past I’ve been reluctant to publicly voice my political opinions, but due to several events in my life and in the world in the past two years, I feel very differently about that now. I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country.”
“I will be voting for Phil Bredesen for Senate and Jim Cooper for the House of Representatives”
Her statement has, however, pull that hate out of President Donald Trump, who said he less likes the megastar is style of music. He said in a recent interview while returning from a trip to Florida, about swift having her say in politics,
Congressman Marsha Blackburn, Bredesen’s rival, is “doing a very good job” and is a “tremendous woman.”
“swift doesn’t know anything about her,”
“I like Taylor’s music about 25 per cent less now, OK?”
United States Mid-term election is set to hold on November 6th 2018.
