Oyo State Police Command Wednesday pronounced that no less than four suspects have been captured regarding Tuesday’s killing of Officer in Charge (OC), Special Anti-Robbery, Saki Unit,n by some presumed outfitted thieves.
The OC was accounted for to have been killed by some speculated Fulani herders on Tuesday.
The SARS supervisor, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, was said to have been macheted to death by Fulani herders amid a task in a woods on the Saki-Ogbooro Road in Oke-Ogun region of the state.
Yet, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the state Police Command, Adekunle Ajisebutu affirmed the executing of the OC to DAILY POST in his answer to a SMS sent to him.
Ajisebutu who said that the Police had started examination to unwind the conditions that encompassed the executing, likewise unveiled that the officer was slaughtered by furnished criminals and not Fulani herders.
He said in the SMS “without a doubt he was murdered by some furnished theft suspects. The charge is exploring the case.
“Four suspects have been captured regarding the grisly murder”.
