Sacked Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Amaju Pinnick has dramatically returned and has taken over the NFF secretariat.
The Department of State (DSS) on Monday, July 23, 2018, stormed the Zone 7 Secretariat of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), ordering Chris Giwa and all the staff who occupied the office by force since July 2, 2018 to vacate with immediate effect. The DSS ensured no soul was left inside the secretariat after the clearance.
Besides, the Secretary-General of the NFF, Dr Muhammed Sanusi is said to have resumed his legal duties as the head of the football Federation Secretariat in Nigeria few hours after the exercise as he was led to his office by officers of the DSS.
Amaju Pinnick is now expected to resume office as his office has also been cleared. He will be returning to Nigeria on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, after supervising the CAF Round Table symposium with the five African representatives to the 2018 Russia World Cup.
