Peter Crouch has announced his retirement from the game of football at 38

Crouch played for clubs like Liverpool, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Stoke City, and Burnley before he retired 

The towering striker made 735 appearances during his club career scoring 205 goals in which 108 of them in the Premier League.

He scored 53 headed goals during his Premier League career, the most of any player. Indeed, he is the only player in the competition’s history to score 50 or more goals with his head. Crouch took to social media to confirm his retirement from the game of football thereby making some emotional statement.





Crouch began his career as a trainee with Tottenham Hotspur and failed to make an appearance for Spurs. And after loan spells at Dulwich Hamlet and Swedish club IFK Hässleholm, he joined Queens Park Rangers in 2000/01 season.
