Former President of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo on Tuesday, 20th of August said Nigeria situation is in a bad state.
The former President made the declaration while speaking with some youths and students from various schools in Ogun state during a one-day Youths Governance Dialogue organized by the Youth Development Centre, an arm of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library.
While advising the youths never to lose hope, Obasanjo said there would be light at the end of the tunnel.
He also went ahead to warn the growing population of the nation if not well manged will turn around to become a mess for Nigeria and its citizenry.
“There should be no Nigerian child that should be out of school for any reason. How are we talking about state of emergency on education? How are we talking about popular education?” he inquired.
“You have already got your Boko Haram in the next 15 years if you don’t do anything about that. So, whatever you are talking about, unless you take care of inclusiveness, you will not get there. Quality is important, but inclusiveness is much better, education for all.”
