Ogun State APC chieftain urges Amosun to avoid “Spoiler game” with party

The Ogun State All Progressive Chieftain, Dr Femi Majekodunmi on Sunday while addressing reporters in Abeokuta, the state capital, urged Governor Ibikunle Amosun to resolve the bickering on the party’s governorship candidate and not play a “spoiler game”

Majekodunmi, the Baagbile of Egba land, urged the governor to take note of the fact that he is generally regarded as the architect of modern Ogun state because of his achievements.

It is reported that APC chapter of Ogun state is having issues with its governorship candidate, with Amosun whose preferred Adekunle Akinlade to remain the APC governorship candidate, instead of the selected Prince Dapo Abiodun who the Party National Working Committee (NWC) had picked.

Majekodunmi however, urged the governor not to involve political decision and also avoid working against the Party’s interest, saying the worth of the statesman is championing the interest of all.

He stated warned that playing a spoiler game with the party could endanger his good name which he has built over years, instead, he should drop every game he attempts to play.

He also acknowledges the governor who has done very well for over seven years with great achievements, according to him, history will smile at him if he allows reason to prevail and he works to see the victory of the party at the state and federal level.
