The Nigerian Football family was again tossed into grieving on Wednesday after news spread of the demise of one – time picture – producer of the Nigeria Football Federation, Mr. Austin Mgbolu.
Mgbolu, who filled in as advertising officer of then NFA in the vicinity of 1993 and 2001, was an exceedingly scrupulous, fiery and devoted proficient and left mammoth imprints for forerunners to take after.
Reports said Mgbolu had a noteworthy surgery a month ago and seemed to have recaptured great wellbeing, before intricacies at an opportune time Wednesday morning prompted his being hurried to the healing facility where he passed on.
“This is extremely tragic. I ask that God Almighty will ensure the family and friends and family he has deserted and give them the grit to endure this huge misfortune.
“He was a careful expert who did his business to the best of his capacity and even as an investigator on TV, he was blunt and given insightful direction to the progression of the Nigeria diversion. We implore that God will give him unceasing rest,” NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, said.
Nicknamed ‘Sponsor’ for his unselfishness and consolation of more youthful experts, Mgbolu presented with the organizations of Sampson Emeka Omeruah (of favored memory), Abdulmumuni Aminu and Anthony Kojo Williams, and quickly with the leading body of Brigadier – General Dominic Oneya (rtd) who came into office when Williams was denounced in 2000.
