New Zealand Mass Shooting: Atiku Shows Concerns

Former vice president, Atiku Abubakar has sympathized with families of victims of mass shooting in New Zealand.

Atiku, who doubles as the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in last presidential elections on his Facebook page said “My deepest condolences to the families of victims of the mass shooting that took place at the mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand.”

“May Almighty Allah grant the victims AlJannah Firdaus and give their families the fortitude to bear their loss.” He added.

It was earlier reported that 40 had died during the incident, but police have given new figures, saying 49 people have been killed and dozens injured in shootings at two mosques in the New Zealand city, when at least one gunman opened fire on worshippers
