He concluded his remarks by calling on all sons and daughters of the State who are successful in their different areas of life to emulate Mudi in bringing back development and support to the state. Mudi was accompanied by close friends; Joseph Edgar, an investment banker; prominent columnist, theater producer and ace photographer, Joshua Omonemu.
Mudi thanked the governor, His Royal Highness, the Ovie of Ughelli and other prominent sons and daughters of Ughelli North for taking time out to be physically present at the grand opening and unveiling of the structure.
He said the structure is part of Mudi Africa’s Corporate Social Responsibility targeted at infrastructural development, job creation and youth empowerment. He added that the project created job opportunities for the youths of the area while also easing the flow of traffic at the very popular traffic intersection. It also beautifies the skyline and environment.
He called on other right-thinking sons and daughters of Delta State and Nigeria to look inwards in their social responsibility because we all cannot leave it all to government.
The structure reflects candidly the mindset of Mudi as a frontline art curator as it embodies the deep reflection of an artistic mind, pulling together his culture, environment and artistic mien.
This enviable disposition and keen eye for details which has made Mudi’s clothing line quite popular could be easily gleaned by a keen observer with a cursory look at his corporate offices and abode in Lagos in designing and situating these landmark structures.
