With just 10 days to the much anticipated bout between Floyd Mayweather and Conor MacGregor at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, USA on August 26, Philippine boxer Manny Pacquiao has lend his voice on the bout.
Pacquiao, who lost to Floyd Mayweather in what was termed as the fight of the century in 2015, doubt MacGregor of landing any meaningful punch, while also playing down the Irishman chances of victory yet admitting Mayweather could be caught if MacGregor “can get lucky”.
Answering questions about the fight, Pacquiao said: “McGregor has no chance in this fight. The guys who caught him and rumbled did best.
“McGregor is of that school. Maybe he’ll get lucky.”
“There is no way he will be able to land a meaningful punch on Floyd,” said Pacquiao.
“How could he? He (McGregor) has no professional experience in boxing.”
