Mother Of Late Kolade Johnson Breaks Silence, Reveals Her Next Move

The Magistrates’ Court sitting in Ebutte Metta, Lagos Mainland had ordered the dismissed Police Inspector, Olalekan Ogunyemi, who was charged with murder of a football fan, Kolade Johnson, to be remanded for at least 30 days at the Ikoyi Prison.

Inspector Ogunyemi was arraigned by the Lagos State Police Command before the court on Friday, a day after the Police announced his dismissal and handover to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Panti, for prosecution.

Recalling that Inspector Ogunyemi Olalekan has been dismissed from the Nigeria Police Force, the Lagos State Police Command also announced that Olalekan has been handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Panti, for prosecution in conventional Court.

According to Bala Elkana, a Deputy Superintendent of Police and Public Relations Officer of the Police in Lagos, the decision to dismiss Olalekan was reached after a four-day orderly trial that began on Monday and ended on Thursday.
