Violence has been reported at a polling unit in Afiesere Community in Delta State as two people have been left injured.
An eye witness account has it that the incident started after a group of supporters to a rival party in the Delta community, asked the residents to vote for their party.
In retaliation and agitation, the angry residents pounced on them.
Meanwhile, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has intercepted huge bags of cash allegedly meant for vote buying.
The anti-graft agency seized the lush sum along North Bank Area, Makurdi, Benue State on Saturday during the Governorship and State Assembly elections.
Reports have it that attempts were made to arrest the culprit, but some thugs hijacked the mission, attacked the officers and then vandalised the patrol bus.
