Saraki, who arrived unannounced was received by the governor and the state chairman of the PDP, Olorogun Kingsley Esiso.

It was gathered that the meeting is not unconnected with his rumored presidential ambition in 2019 on the platform of the PDP.

The Senate President had since his defection to the PDP consulted prominent leaders in the country including former President Olusegun Obasanjo and a former military President, Ibrahim Babangida.
