Following another fresh attack on Kajuru Local Government area of Kaduna, the State Government has today imposed a 24-hour curfew in Kasuwan Magani area of the state.
The curfew which commenced with immediate effect followed a confirmed renewed attack on Kajuru.
The attack, which led to the death of one person, and one other injured, started early Friday morning.
it can be recalled that a few days ago, there was an attack on the local government area of the state.
In a statement released by the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Nasir El-Rufai on Media and Publicity, Mr Samuel Aruwan, the Deputy Governor, Barnabas Bala, has directed vigorous enforcement of the curfew and has urged the citizens to comply and support peace efforts in the community.
“Following events in Kasuwan Magani, the dusk to dawn curfew that has been in place in Kajuru local government area had been extended to 24-hours in the entire local government area.”
“The 24-hour curfew in the entire Kajuru LGA is with immediate effect, and will be enforced until further notice,” the statement read.
