The founder of Coza, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, has responded to rape allegations levied against him by Timi Dakolo’s wife, Busola and has threatened to sue them and all other entities involved in bringing up the defaming allegations.
Busola had in an interview narrated how Pastor Fatoyinbo allegedly forced his way onto her when she was just a 16 year old secondary school girl.
Reacting to the allegations in a press release on Friday, the pastor said over time there have been rumours on social media in attempts to extort money from him and the church through blackmail, harassment and intimidation.
Fatoyinbo confirmed that Busola who made the false allegation and her family attended the church during the early start of the church in Ilorin in 1999 but he never had any private interactions with her beyond his pastoral duties.
The pastor said he was dumbfounded when he heard of the allegations made by busola despite her status and that of her husband.
Reiterating that he has never raped anyone in his life even as an unbeliever, he said the leadership of the Church has briefed lawyers to commence Criminal and Civil actions against all individuals making false allegations whether directly or by proxies.
He further stated that he will not be surprised to see more of such allegations by people who have been paid to continue in blackmail, harassment and extortion including those who may have been dismissed from their duties in the church on disciplinary grounds.
