The Mambilla Power Station, is one of Africa’s (and Nigeria’s) biggest dam projects, is a planned hydropower plant which will be connected to three dams across the Donga River in Taraba State, Nigeria.

The Federal Government has inaugurated the Inter-Ministerial Steering Committee and Project Delivery Committee that would ensure the implementation of the 3,050MW Mambilla hydropower projects.

The project is being undertaken by Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Power, Construction, and Housing, with the help of Chinese investments.
