Ewenla Explodes!I’m Not A Vandal, APC Trying To Tarnish My Image

 

Director of Adeddas company limited, also candidate on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, National Assembly constituency 01, Prince Adedipe Dauda Ewenla, has debunked the statement made by the police as the ring leader of the recent pipeline explosion in Abule Egba area of Lagos State

Adedipe’s spokesman, campaign co-ordinator and wife were arrested after he fled to Ogun State.

The explosion which occurred on the 19th of December in the early hours of 3:am, threw the whole community into anguish when the explosion hit the community unexpectedly, destroying properties worth millions of naira, leaving many in tears and sorrow .

In a conversation with one of our Journalists on whatsapp messanger at about 2 pm,  Adedipe claimed that he was not invited by the command, stating that only the Area commander called him on phone which he honoured him by visiting him in his office.
According to report, while being questioned on the disastrous incidence, Adedipe stated that he told the police in a verbal conversation to investigate the men of the Civil Defense Corp on duty that very day, because the men of the defense were patrolling the place and their post is situated there.
Adedipe was asked to put his statements in to book, which he did.
“I strongly believe these people are behind my predicament, It is not possible for a property consultant like me to tap pipeline which is never my field.” Prince Adedipe added.

“I honoured the call of the Area commander to clarify doubts, the following day he paid me a visit at my house being one of the community leader. Said Prince Adedipe”

He expressed shock over his declaration  ‘as wanted’ by the police yesterday through the public relations officer of the command after arresting his pregnant wife, workers and detaining one of his campaign vehicles.

He added that his declaration is politically motivated as he was convinced severally to join the ruling party to contest for House of Assembly which he declined their offer.
