Founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, has reaffirmed his commitment to the development and growth of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Speaking in a telephone call with President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, Gates expressed his willingness to contribute to the progress of Nigeria.
Gates noted that he was pleased to be associated with the Buhari while congratulating him on his re-election.
Responding, Buhari lauded the efforts of Gates in supporting the eradication of polio and HIV diseases in Africa and Nigeria in particular.
The president while expressing his gratitude for the call, reiterated his belief that Gates’ wealth has benefited Nigeria’s development.

A statement by Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant (Media and Publicity), Garba Shehu quoted him as saying “I am very happy the way your projects have touched the lives of the average Nigerian, the people of this country have given their verdict.”
