The House of Representatives has adjourned its plenary to Wednesday,14 November 2018 over faulty sound system.
Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara, stated that the adjournment was necessary to create room for the sound system to be fixed.
He, however, stated that if the problem persists by Wednesday, the House will adjourn sitting indefinitely.
According to reports, the microphones were installed in 1999 and the panels would take three weeks to arrive Nigeria from Germany.
During the plenary earlier today, which lasted for an hour, lawmakers were seen passing a cordless microphone around to enable them to contribute on the floor of the House.
This is the second time in under one week that the House would be adjoining plenary over a faulty sound system.
