News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the event was slated to take place at the FRSC headquarters, Abuja.

NAN reports that the inauguration of the National Traffic Radio was part of efforts to educating the public on safe road usage towards eradicating road traffic crashes (RTC) and creating safe motoring environment in Nigeria.
“This is in line with its establishment mandate. The veritable platform is intended to inculcate safety consciousness among the Nigeria populace.
“To also serve as feedback mechanism that will assist the Corps enunciating proactive and result oriented strategies to addressing the ever evolving traffic challenges in the country.”
The programme was to host Vice President Yemi Osinbajo as special guest of honour among other dignitaries who have demonstrated uncommon passion and commitment in the propagation of road safety ideals in the country.
