Bettie Jenifer, wife to famous Ghanian actor, has been murdered. It was gathered that Jenifer, who is an American, was shot dead in the parking lot of her office in Maryland, the United States Of America, at 5pm on Friday.
According to reports, Bettie Jenifer, left the office in the 6300 block of Ivy Lane and was walking towards her car when a man armed with a handgun approached her. She tried running away but the man followed her and fired at her multiple times, with at least one shot hitting her. He then made his escape in a getaway vehicle.
The Maryland Police have declared the Murderer wanted. Giving details about his physical appearance, the police described him as “a black male with a think build and black hair, wearing a dark shirt and pants.”
Chris Attoh had gotten married to Bettie Jenifer at a private event at North Kaneshie, Accra, Ghana in October 2018, 10 months after divorcing DamiloIa Adegbite, a Nigerian actress with whom he has a son.
Last week, Attoh sparked speculations on social media that all was not well with his second marriage after he deleted all of Bettie’s pictures from his social media pages. It was alleged that they had broken up but neither of the two publicly confirmed or denied the story.
Apart from the shocking news of her death, another disturbing news concerning Bettie is that she had reportedly been married to two men, including the actor, before she lost her life.
It was gathered that she was also married to a man named Kedrick Jenifer, a drug lord who is in jail serving a 20-year term over drug-related issues. He had been arrested for importing hard substance into Baltimore from Texas. Further investigations revealed that Kendrick had also filed for a divorce from the deceased on April 9, this year. The deceased had also filed for a divorce six days after Kedrick. The drug lord had reportedly filed a motion for Bettie to account for assets and for an injunction to prevent dissipation of assets.
In another development, it was alleged that a screenshot of a conversation between two unidentified persons regarding the controversy surrounding Bettie’s death was found in circulation.
