Chelsea FC Out of Favor player, Danny Drinkwater has been involved in a ghastly motor crash and he is fortunate to have walked out unhurt.
The Chelsea man was coming from a party with solicitor, Beth Mantel had attended a charity event in an upmarket bar called Victors in Hale, Greater Manchester, approximately six miles away from his house.
The crash left debris scattered across the country road while a fence was also flattened.
Speaking on the incident, The Sun quoted a source as saying: “It was a really nasty crash. Danny had been seen having a great night at the bar but it ended horribly. Pieces of the car he hit went flying.”
“Chelsea star Danny’s been partying like mad recently but hopefully this will be a wake-up call telling him to slow down.”
Confirming the reports Police spokesman said, A man was arrested on suspicion of Drunk driving.
Danny Drinkwater joined Chelsea from Leicester city FC, for a fee of £35million.
He has fallen out of favour under Coach Sarri, barely playing or even starting on the bench.
