BREAKING: Kidnapped Lagos State Fire Service Director Released

The Kano State Police Command, on Tuesday, said it has arrested four suspects in connection to the case of a gorilla, which allegedly swallowed N6.8 million at Kano Zoological Gardens.

The Director of Fire Service, Lagos State, Rasaki Musibau and six others who were kidnapped on 6 April, 2019 have been released unharmed.

They were released by their abductors at about 8pm on Tuesday at Ketu-Ereyun, Ikorodu, Lagos State and have since then reunite with their families.

In a statement made and signed by the Lagos State Police Command spokesman, DSP Bala Elkana, the Command’s Tactical teams are still in combat with the hoodlums.

“Water-tight security measures are emplaced across the State to forestall future occurrence.

“The Command deeply appreciates the support of the Lagos State Government and the good people of Lagos State who stood by us and also provided useful information that facilitated the prompt rescue of the victims.

“Together we will continue to make Lagos State one of the safest states in Nigeria.”
