Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crime Comission, EFCC has reportedly grilled the deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu over false assets declaration.
According to a report reaching E24-7 Magazine, the Enugu-born politician who appeared before detectives of the EFCC in Abuja, Tuesday morning for interrogation on some assets linked to him, has been in custody since 9am.
Ekweremadu is said to have omitted some of these properties in his assets declaration form. EFCC detectives are believed to have been on this case in the past nine months.
