Billionaire, Otedola To Bear Former Nigerian Goalkeeper’s Medical Bills

Nigeria’s Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, has made plans to foot the medical bill of ailing former Nigerian goalkeeper, Peter Fregene.

The 72-year-old former footballer had in a report published in a Nigerian newspaper confirmed that he will be airlifted from the Benin Airport in Edo State to Lagos on Friday morning for medical evaluation and treatment through the help of Otedola.

Stating that the billionaire had earlier sent representatives to check on his health, he said Otedola paid all expenses, while expressing gratitude to the newspaper, for drawing the attention of Nigerians to his plight.

“I’ll leave through the Benin Airport. Everything has been paid for by him (Otedola). I’m so happy for this. I’m so grateful to SUNDAY PUNCH for drawing the attention of Nigerians to my plight. Thank you.”
