The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has claimed that Justice Binta Nyako of an Abuja Federal High Court earlier granted him bail so as to pave way for his assassination by the Federal government.
The Nigerian government earlier arraigned Kanu and three others on a four-count amended charge before Justice Nyako.
The IPOB leader was granted bail on April 25, 2017, after he spent a year and seven months in detention.
Kanu in a tweet accused Justice Nyako of being angry about a failed assassination attempt on him by the Federal government.
‘“It’s now obvious Justice Binta Nyako only agreed to grant me bail as part of an elaborate ploy with the Nigerian govt to set me up for assassination.”
Just last week, the trial judge revoked Kanu’s bail and ordered his arrest, over his failure to attend his trial since he was granted bail.
