Veteran Yoruba actor, Babatunde Omidina, popularly known as Baba Suwe, has travelled overseas for his medical treatment.
This was revealed by a fellow Yoruba actor, Yomi Fabiyi, via an Instagram post on Sunday.
Fabiyi noted that the Babasuwe accompanied by his son, Sola Omidina, made the trip on Saturday, April 20.
Yomi also expressed appreciations to all the bodies that supported the actor when news of his ill health broke.
News of Baba Suwe’s ailment came to light in February, after which the 60-year-old actor confirmed his health challenges in an interview where he lamented the worsening state of his health, saying that he was walking with the aid of a stick.
Baba Suwe was afterwards admitted at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).
The admission was facilitated by the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) with the assistance of the Federal Ministry of Health.
