A former Nigerian midfielder who played for the Super Falcons has recently passed.
The National Football Federation, NFF tweeted this via their verified Twitter handle @thenff where they sympathized with her family and expressed their sadness.
Ajuma Ameh-Ottache was born on December 1st, 1984. She played for the Super Falcons at the 2003 All Africa Games in Abuja as well as the Nigeria women’s National Football Team at the 2004 Summer Olympics.
On club level, she played for Pelican Stars.
She was a successful female coach in charge of Goodland Rangers Football Club of Lagos and she is survived by her husband Peter Ottache and three children.
