Adekunle Gold Chokes Back Tears As He Pays Last Respect To His Late Father (Video)

Amidst tears, Adekunle Gold’s father, Prince Hakeem Kosoko was laid to rest on Thursday, May 30, 2019, in Lagos.

The singer was seen in a viral video holding back his tears as he paid last respect to his father who was buried in the presence of family members.

Hakeem Kosoko who was a permanent secretary at the Lagos state Ministry of Education died few days ago, after battling with a brief illness.

Being a Muslim, he was supposed to have been buried on the same day he died but the absence of Adekunle Gold didn’t make that happen until yesterday when the man was finally laid to rest. Dailyadvent reports.

According to reports, Kosoko died in the middle of the night after suffering an undisclosed ailment.

Reports also say that he was flown out of the country after falling ill some months ago and only recently returned to recuperate.

Adekunkle Gold’s father was recently promoted to the position of a permanent secretary in Lagos state.
