Acting IGP Reveals Other Tactics To Tackle Crime In Nigeria

In a bid to tackle crime in Nigeria, the Acting Inspector General of Police, Mohammad Abubakar Adamu, has revealed that the Nigeria Police will employ technology for combating the menace, as against the use of weapons.

Adamu made this known during his visit to the Lagos, following the recent extra-judicial killings in the state.

Addressing police officers and newsmen at the Police College, Ikeja, the state’s capital, the IG, stated that the wrong use of weapons will no longer be tolerated.

Sympathizing with the families of the bereaved, Adamu, in his address, explained that training will be conducted across Nigeria, and will be mostly based on how to handle weapons and how to address the citizens.
