Wayne Rooney Joins Alan Shearer in Premier League’s 200 Club

The England captain scored in the first half to give Everton the lead thus reaching a milestone record.

Everton striker Wayne Rooney has become the second player to reach 200 Premier League goals. The former Manchester United forward did so in Everton’s 1-1 draw against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Wayne Rooney thus joined Alan Shearer on the list of players to have net 200 goals in the Premier League since it started in 1992/1993 season.
