UEFA Super Cup: Real Madrid Even Hungry For More Success – Zidane

After beating Manchester United to the UEFA Super Cup, Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has said his side his still very much hungry for success.

Goals from Casemiro and Isco gave Madrid a 2-1 win over United in Skopje, as Madrid continue their supremacy in Europe. Zidane, has however, come out and said that they are still hungry for more success.

“We know we’ve got a lot of talent and that with hard work we can achieve great things,” head coach Zidane said. “We’re very hungry, we always want more. It was a near perfect performance.

“There were great celebrations in the dressing room, that’s normal, we never get tired of winning. We controlled things where they are very strong, such as second balls, the high balls. We pressed high and didn’t allow them to play. We made it count with the ball and stayed calm. The team’s overall commitment is crucial as well.”

We did very good work, again,”Our first half was spectacular. The second we suffered a bit, but that is normal. We have won another important trophy and begun the season well.

Real Madrid has now amazed a total six trophies since Zidane became their manager in January 2016.
