The Fox: Iheanacho Completes £25 Million Leicester City Move

Nigerian international Kelechi Iheanacho has completed his much awaited move to former Premier League Champions Leicester City.

The transfer cost Leicester City £25 million, thus making Kelechi the most expensive Nigerian footballer. The 20-year-old, signed a 5-year contract with the Foxes to end his 3-year stay with Manchester City though the Etihad club insisted on a £50 million buy-back clause.

“It feels good and I’m happy to be part of this team,” Iheanacho told Leicester’s website.

“I know the ambition of the team and speaking with the manager, he let me know what I need to do, to help the team achieve what they want. I was convinced and I’m happy to be here.”
