World no two Rafael Nadal made a surprise exit at the Rogers Cup in Montreal, Canada.
Two time Rogers cup winner, Nadal fell to a shock defeat to home boy, 18-year-old Denis Shapovalov.
The Canadian kid came from a set down to beat Nadal 3-6 6-4 7-6 and become the youngest player to reach a Masters 1000 quarter-final.
Dennis Shapovalov meets 29-year-old Frenchman Adrian Mannarino in the next round.
With the absence of World no one Andy Murray, Nadal could have dethroned the Murray as world no one with a semi final appearance in the Montreal, though he still have a chance to do so in the Ciccinnati Masters which comes up in USA next week.
