Spanish outlet Don Balon has claimed that Neymar’s protracted transfer to PSG is just a way out to join either Real Madrid or Manchester United.

Neymar, 26, will end his 4-year romance with Barcelona after agreeing to a 5-year-deal with Paris Saint-Germain in what is to be a world record transfer but Don Balon says he still plans on joining one of the two European heavyweights later in his career.

Contrary to believe that Neymar is joining PSG to better his chances of winning the Ballon d’Or, this is not the case, instead he plans to spend two or three years with PSG before negotiating a move to either Real or United.

He [Neymar], knows United and Real both have the financial power to lure him away from PSGa when the time comes and by 27 or 28 years, he will be well placed to win the Ballon D’or by that both Cristiano [Ronaldo] and Lionel [Messi] will have passed their prime the Spanish Magazine said.
