Arsenal led after two minutes, fell behind twice but recovered to win 4-3 against Leicester City in a thrilling encounter on the opening day of the 2017/2018 Premier League season.
New recruit Alexander Lacazette had the honour of scoring the first goal of the Premier League season heading home after two minutes to give Arsenal an early lead. Shinji Okazaki replied for Leicester City almost immediately, equalizing in the fifth minute before Jamie Vardy put the Foxes ahead in the 29th minute.
Danny Welbeck tapped home just before the half time to draw Arsenal level at the Emirate.
The match ended two goal apiece heading into the half time break. The game will come back alive once again with Vardy scoring his second on the night to put Leicester City ahead in the 56th minute before Arsenal left it late to equalize and snatch the victory.
Wales midfielder Aaron equalized in the 83rd before Olivier Giroud grabbed the winner two minutes later as the Gunners won the game in a goal fest encounter.
Arsenal 4 – 3 Leicester City.
