Chelsea coach Antonio Conte has revealed that Winger Pedro has suffered multiple fractures.

Pedro, 29, was taken off in the first half of Chelsea’s 3-0 preseason win over Arsenal in Beijing after a heavy collision with Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina landing him in the hospital that same night.

The injury was not as severe as first thought, but Conte has come out to confirm the injury might be serious than he thought.

Conte speaking at a news conference ahead of Chelsea’s clash with German Champion Bayern Munich, confirmed the extent of Pedro’s injury while laying no blame at Arsenal goalie Ospina.

With a mask, and in around 10 days, he can come back to work with us.”
