With two matches left to play in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), Plateau United looks good to be crowned champions even though they were held at home in their week 36 encounter.

The Kenedy Boboye led side were held to a 1-1 draw by Rivers United to maintain their lead on the top of the log on 63 points, four points ahead of nearest rivals, Mountain of Fire (MFM) who lost to Abia Warriors by a lone goal failing to take advantage of Plateau’s slip.
