Could Lionel Messi be on his way to England this summer? The Argentine is not happy with the state of activity in Barcelona.

Barcelona has sold Neymar and were outclassed by archrival Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup, Messi has been linked with a stunning 300m move to Manchester City, though the Etihad team has denied any interest, the move could yet be ignited if feelers are anything to go by.

According to the Sun, Messi’s dad Jorge has spoken to Manchester City director of football Txiki Begiristain about his son making a sensational move to the Etihad.

Messi has verbally agreed to a new deal with the Blaugrana but he is yet to sign, the Sun reports that the move to Manchester City looks more likely to happen next summer.
