Barcelona star Lionel Messi is reportedly unhappy with Coach Ernesto Valverde’s attempts to keep Neymar happy at the club.

Neymar has been linked with a move to French giants PSG with a personal agreement between the player and the Parisian club believed to have been agreed on but Barcelona are doing everything to keep the skillful Brazilian.

Spanish news outlet Diario Gol claim the Brazilian forward has few friends in the Barca dressing room suggesting he’s close with Rafinha but other confidants are few and far between.

The wantaway star was close with his compatriots Dani Alves, Douglas and Adriano but has cut an isolated figure with the departure of the trio and in a bid to keep Neymar happy at the Camp Nou, Barca has been linked with raids for Tottenham flop Paulinho and Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho.

However, this has not bode down well with five-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi, who is fuming that Neymar’s frustrations at the club are now influencing Coach Ernesto Valverde’s transfer strategy.

Messi is a hugely influential figure at the Nou Camp and signed a lucrative new four-year deal earlier this month.
