While PSG are sounding confident of signing Brailian star, Neymar from Laliga side Barcelona, Laliga chief Javier Tebas has threatened to scupper the world record deal.

PSG will make Neymar the most expensive footballer in history if they pay his €222 million contact release clause and his move t the Parc des Princes is eventually finalised but Tebas has said that the deal would be legal and the Spanish League won’t not allow it to go through.

“Even if PSG do meet Neymar’s release clause, we are going to report them,” Tebas told Sport on Tuesday.

“We have already warned the president of Paris Saint-Germain that we would do so and we see that PSG’s policy has continued in the same manner.”
