Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has admitted it’s game over in their pursuit of Real Madrid’s winger Gareth Bale.

Speaking after his side’s 2-1 loss to Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup yesterday, Mourinho might have finally given up on the hope of bringing the Welsh winger to Old Trafford admitting that Bale is going to stay.

Mourinho said of the Bale’s position at Madrid: “I think so, I think clearly the club wants him, the manager wants him, the player wants it. I think game over. Because I think now he’s going to stay.”
