I Can No Longer Cope With My Husband’s Incompetency-Wife Seeks Divorce

One Iyabo Adedayo who had earlier lodged series of complain to the Mapo Customary Court in Ibadan, over her husband’s incompetency and inability to perform his responsibility as a husband. In the interest of peaceful coexistence, the 10-years union between Iyabo and Babatunde was dissolved on Tuesday.

Mr Ademola Odunade, the court President in his statement said;“The court tried settling the irreconcilable differences between the couple, but there was no solution and the only provided solution was to terminate the marriage.

according to judgement released by the court as regards the two;

“Iyabo shall take custody of the four children produced by the union.

“Babatunde shall pay a monthly feeding allowance of N10, 000 for the upkeep of the children in addition to being responsible for their education and other welfare needs,” he said.
