The Owa Obokun of Ijesaland, Oba Adekunle Aromolaran is currently in the palace of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Eniola Ogunwusi, Ojaja II today, Tuesday in an unprecedented historical visit.

It was gathered that Oba Aromolaran left his Adimula Palace in Ilesha with his first class chiefs and Oloris in a convoy of cars to visit the Ooni Of Ife. Eminent sons and daughters of Ijeshaland including Princess Toyin Kolade who joined distinguished guests to receive Oba Aromolaran.
In the same vein, the Ooni’s Palace expectant of the August visitor, was received by the Ooni of Ife and eminent chiefs.

Palace sources hinted that the two monarchs will look at common interests that will advance integration of the Yoruba race, people and Heritage.
Ooni and Owa Obokun Adimula are members of the Osun State Council of Traditional Rulers as Chairman and Vice Chairman respectively.
The visit is against the backdrop of the power tussle at the Council’s meeting last year before Osun State GOvernor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola intervened and settled it amicably.

To display the matter had been resolved, Ooni of Ife, Oba Ogunwusi visited the Owa Adimula and both vowed to bury the hatchet and work together for the unity of the Yoruba race.
