Arsene Wenger has told striker Alexis Sanchez to accept Arsenal stay and forget about going anywhere.

Alexis, 28, is in the final year of his contract at the Emirates club but speculations surrounding his future have been on-going towards the end of last season with PSG and Manchester City monitoring his situation.

Arsene Wenger, however, is not ready to let his star forward go and after spotting him kissing Arsenal’s badge on his training jersey while having a conversation with Mesut Ozil, before beating his chest, Wenger has come out to say that he [Sanchez] must have accepted his fate to stay at the London club.

He may, then, have accepted his fate, Wenger stated at his latest press conference that he fully expects to be in a position to call on Sanchez throughout the 2017-18 campaign, and possibly beyond.

The Frenchman told reporters: “He is focused. My decision is clear, he will stay. He will accept that. He is good, you can see it in training. He needs to work on his fitness but he is sharp and looks like he has never been away.”
