FIFA Rankings: Super Eagles Move Two Places Up

Despite the defeat to the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in AFCON qualifier in June, the Super Eagles of Nigeria has moved up one place in the new FIFA ranking released on Thursday morning.

With 716 points, Nigeria climbed up from 40th position to the 38th and tied with Former European champion Greece.

Nigeria are ranked sixth in Africa with Egypt (ranked 25) leading the way on the continent followed by DR Congo(28), Senegal (31), Tunisia (34) and Cameroon (35) complete the top-5.
